Nakagin Capsule Tower
A 1972 Metabolism landmark in Ginza designed by Kisho Kurokawa, built from 140 interchangeable capsules attached to two concrete cores. Demolished in 2022, it remains the defining realization of Metabolism architecture worldwide.
